TREE OF CONSCIOUS CREATION, 2024

round mirror and 4 wood panels covered with mirror foil.

This installation is a simulated construction of a tree, made of melted, wave-shaped panels of acrylic glass that are displayed and staged hanging down over a mirror. The tree symbolically plays the role of rootedness, the grounded and the fertile. The hanging chiffon, visualized as “branches” is a symbol of union.

The distorted mirror panels, leaning against trees on the side, symbolize the external perception of one’s own self-image.
